Successful Routine

Hello everybody, I thought it was about time I shared my routine will you all

Everyday I bike for half and hour with the seat extremely raised, I mean, so high that my feet can barely touch the pedals. I listen to upbeat music to help get me through it, biking at a pretty quick pace, and working up quite a sweat.

Then, right after that I do my kicks. I do 50 snap front kicks (where you raise one leg so your thigh is parallel to the floor and your shin hangs down, and "snap" your leg forward in a quick kicking motion)

I do 50 per leg

Then I do swing kicks. I usually stand in an open doorway and hold on to the sides of the door frame for more balance. I swing my leg straight forward and back, with my leg straight 50 times (per leg!)

I then go back to the snap front kicks, and then the swing kicks again.

Then I JUMP. I stand in front of an old chair we have that is a few feet off of the ground and jump up with both feet at the same time and back 50 times.

After this I do stretches. I sit with one leg straight out in front of me and brace the foot of my other leg on the inner thigh of the leg that is straight out....I then grab the toes on the leg that is straight out, stretching for 1 minute. Then repeat, with the opposite leg.

Then I do the butterfly stretch. Then I sit with both legs straight out and just stretch them as forward as I can. Then I do the candle stick, and then the bicycle in the air (you do the candle stick and then pretend like you're riding a bicycle in the air)

Then I stand up and stand with my feet together and stretch downwards, touching my toes. Then I spread my legs and stretch down towards one leg, and then the other.

Then I stand straight and lift one leg straight out in BACK of me. This causes you to lean forward, but you have to try to stand as straight as you can, it is very difficult if you're doing it right. I usually brace myself on a counter or the door frame again to help. I do this with both legs.

Each stretch is held for one minute.

I then lay flat on my stomach to help my back relax, and then lay straight on my back for the same reason, to recover from the workout.

After I take a quick "splash" It is a shower in which I only wash my body and face, but not my hair, so it only takes a few minutes.

On an average day it goes like this :

Bike---30 minutes

Kicks (snap (50 per leg), swing (50 per leg), snap (50 per leg), swing (50 per leg)---10 to 15 minutes with water break

Jumps (50 jumps)---3 minutes

Stretches (11 minutes of stretching, 5 minutes of laying, relaxing)

Splash (5 to 10 minutes)

**************************AT NIGHT**********************

Right before bed I go do 10 minutes of INTENSE running, kicks, jumping, movement, anything really. Running in place as fast as you can, kicking as high as you can as fast as you can, running, jumping as high as you can as fast as you can. You should feel like you're dying, like you can't hardly breathe, just intense intense anaerobic exercise. I then do 200 jumps in place without a break and go to bed)

I sit at the edge of my bed and attach weights to my ankles (if you don't have any, you can make some. It doesn't matter what you use, just make sure that they are both THE SAME WEIGHT. and attach them to your ankles. I then swing my legs off the side of the bed for 30 to 45 minutes, and then go to sleep. While swinging my legs I have a big glass of milk and 2 calcium chews (you could use calcium pills if you wanted, but the chews taste good ) DO NOT GET OUT OF BED UNTIL MORNING!

Try to sleep on your back with your legs straight.

************************EATING**************************

I try to eat 4 to 5 smaller meals a day to keep my energy up. Each "meal" or snack should consist of somewhat proportional amounts of good carbs, good fats, and protein. Carbs should come mostly from vegetables if possible, and eat lots of protein. The ratios don't have to be perfect, just try to get a little bit of everything and DO NOT EAT THE SAME THING EVERYDAY!!!! VARIATION!!!!!! At lunch I have a multivitamin pack. I don't want to list every single vitamin there is, and it's not extremely critical either. Just find a decent, GOOD QUALITY, multivitamin or multivitamin pack with most if not almost all of the daily vitamins your body needs.

I drink lots of water, and not much else, besides tea.

********************************************************

I have been doing this on and off for a while now, and have never done it for more than a month straight. I always ended up taking a day or so off and then stopping for a few months all together, or even a year.

I have found that after I stop sometimes I even get more growth afterwards. I have also found that I will lose some height once I have stopped, so it would be wise to aim for a bit above your actual goal, only 1/4 inch or so.

I have never stretched my back as I have heard that it is not permanent and I have a fairly long torso as it is, but am not against tying it. I have never lost any of the height I have gained by doing this, even years later.

********************************************************

Current Age: 17 years

Start Height: 5'4''

Current Height: 5'7''

Goal Height: 5'8.75''

Dream Height: 5'8.75'' (why would it be different than my goal?...that's
ridiculous lol)

********************************************************
Farewell and a TALL FUTURE TO ALL!
