RE: does potato really help ?
dont think potatoes has direct causal effect with your height.
potatoes do have different nutritional content than rice even though both of them are under the starch food group. Some even say that potatoes are more fattening than rice given it has a greater sucrose content Potatoes had given me a better energy boost from my experience. |

@Kahsu.
It's not good enough if you get a boost from carbohydrates. No one say that sugar is good. And you say potatoes contain sucrose. But, I think not from the sucrose. Because potatoes is not sweet. It's tasteless. You get it maybe from the vitamins, minerals, and calories from the potatoes. In my opinion, All natural food is good for health. Am I right people? Even rice, It contains lots of fiber. |

RE: does potato really help ?
In general, starchy food will have a certain amount of sucrose and glucose in it, be it rice or potato.
Even if potatoes doesn't taste sweet doesn't mean that sucrose / glucose is not present. Sweets/ candies taste sweet beacuse their sucrose are in much larger concentration than the ones in potatoes, and hence the sweetness blasting right onto our tongues when we have one of those (02-24-2010 09:51 PM)deoxys_zzz Wrote: @Kahsu. |

@Kahsu
Of course I know. What I mean is, potatoes has better nutrients rather than sucrose. Sucrose is useless. It's just give us a quick boost, not a permanent boost like what supplements such as Iron do. It's starch not sucrose, sucrose not in potato.You are wrong

RE: does potato really help ?
There are many ways that can help you to increase your height.
here are some tips that were helpful for me to grow taller naturally: Have a good sleep Getting a full night's sleep each and every night is one of the most important things for growing taller..Get 8-9 hours of sleep each night and take whatever steps you need to ensure that your sleep is uninterrupted as much as possible. Different exercises Doing the right exercises can be really helpful for growing taller. Swimming for example is really great.In the water you have less gravity and that means more open bone areas for your body to fill them with new bone tissue. The free motion of swimming is very light on your body and greatly releases stress, which can be very bad to your growth potential. Swimming about 2-4 times a week it's highly recommended if you can. Regarding the potato option to increase height is useless. m3 zero |
