Ways to create microfractures?
Hi everyone! I started the shinebone routine 2 days ago but I find it really hard jogging with ankle weights. I started jogging with 3kg ankle weights each leg but...holy shit... I hardly even jog for 20 minutes! It is extremely strenuous and exhausting!!! When I get back home I barely stand on my legs. So guys, can you come up with any alternatives for creating microfractures, except jogging with ankle weights?

RE: Ways to create microfractures?
It's not enough to create microfractures. You need to create microfractures while the bone is in a deformed stated(when it's stretched).

Ankle weights are no good just sprint really fast(ankle weights are uncomfortable and limit your speed). However, sprinting creates mostly shearing and compression strains pulling and spiral strains are best to increase height. Shearing increases height of the periosteum, you need to affect the cortical bone as well.

RE: Ways to create microfractures?
This always makes me laugh.

Microfractures. Running with ankle weights. Lying on a bed with ankle weights. The things that people will believe makes me want to cry. There are only a few ways to actually get taller. I've said this a million times on this forum. They are, listed in order of effectiveness:

(1) Growth hormone injections,
(2) aromatase inhibitors,
and (3) drinking milk.

Here's what will definitely not make you grow taller:
(1) "Microfractures,"
(2) stretching (give me a fucking break),
(3) drinking a tomato smoothie (which, by the way, can actually hinder growth because of the lycopene in the tomatoes that down-regulates igf-1),
(4) doing jumping jacks,
(5) wishing (also known as hypnosis) that you will grow taller,
or (6) any other bullshit some pseudo-intellectual teenage punk has posted on the internet and suddenly shorties on the internet believe

If you're serious about growing taller, then focus on what will really work. Focus on obtaining illegal growth hormone from Mexico, not using ankle weights on your legs. I'm sorry; I'm still laughing about this, even as I write this post. I get the image of some 15-year-old kid lying in bed with his ankle-weighted legs dangling over the side, hoping that the ankle weights would "stretch out" his calf bone.

yes ur right but growth hormones and other stuff makes you taller only when your growth plates in your long bones are open (infused)

RE: Ways to create microfractures?
lol, hypnosis and wishing can be seperated.

Hypnosis can be used, but not in a physical sense. You can use it to drop bad habits (like drinking, etc.)

Wishing is sitting down and going "Dear Santa, all I want for christmas is 8 inches!"

PLEASE NOTE: I am on an indefinate hiatus from GTForum. Nothing personal, just another project I've been working on since Summer '10. My account WILL reamain open - but please don't send PMs for advice until (and if) I return.

GOOD LUCK ALL HEIGHT SEEKERS!
