RE: This is Me...
.... when designing your own routine... what did u consider? or based on what factors did u use to adjust your routine?
thanks for your post once more!
I consider factors like stretches which will work my spine in different ways, I also throw in leg lengthening exercises, and I have been cutting down on rice intake (Note : Not abandon rice), and have began eating more protein etc. I also began supplements to assist me in my HI routine. Thats about it.
leg lengthening exercices? can u explain me what exercices u do?
I use to do kicks, now that I got cycling and my upcoming swimming routine, I am depending on these two for leg/spine lengthening.
Note : I no longer do kicks.
kicks give me pains in the knee caps.........
Front snap kicks tend to cause pains in the knee caps, straight leg kicks and side swings don't, ironically, you are supposed to do more front snaps than anything else so my advice would be to go a little bit easier on the kicks so as not to hurt yourself.

RE: This is Me...
Side swing? My ignorance is kicking in... Like, standing with feet parallel then just swinging it outward to the side?
If that's what you're referring to (which I'm assuming it is), sweet. I've been doing that to trim down a bit so I stop looking like an effin pear in jeans. But if it works for 2 batters, awesome. (I've noticed after I do that, my shinbones are in pain a little and tingle slightly)
Age: 18, female, Caucasian
Starting height: 5'2" (November 2nd, 2008)
Current: 5'2"
Goal height: 5'4"
Dream height: 5'5"
mom's height- 5'3
dad's height- 6'
Fully aware this totally changed.
Why only 5'4? Because Idina is 5'4... =) Juuust kidding.
Kind of.

RE: This is Me...
so... those kicks... you guys basically just kick your legs in front of your body, or is it some kind of martial arts kick you rely on? And would it even make sense for me to to them considering I am 20 yrs old, soon 21?
i think it would be better if u do kicks that work in all directions, best are front kick-kciking in front w/ ball of foot, back kick-just kick backwards make sure u imagine hitting someone w/ ur heel, n then sidekick-kick sideways with "blade"-don't know technical term but thats what i call it, or heel of foot...i would focus more on front kick-don't do snap kick where ur hitting with the top part of ur foot, i found that it doesn't stretch ur legs out as much, but with a front kick think of pushing someone back as u kick with the ball of ur foot....its actually would be better to join martial arts or something so u don't get bored from just kicking in ur house, i do taekwondo/karate n i think thats what made my legs a little longer than last yrs since i did grew a bit, but im still sticking to it to see how much i can grow if i amped the intensity a bit

Yeap Yeap. I think you are on the same frequency but let me affirm.
I am talking about the one where you hold against a chair or something, and then standing on one feet while the other swings left and right for X times. If you are talking about that then you can pop the champagne.
I actually only knew that as a grow taller exercise, not by any means an un-pear exercise, anyways you said you look like a pear in jeans, why so ?

RE: This is Me...
Listen, if all else fails, you can try improving your posture. That can add an inch or two to your height at anytime of life.
But Is It permanent?
Like if you stop trying to improve your posture, will you be the same height again like you was before?
What do you exactly mean by improving your posture?
Can you explain me *-)
Thank youu

It is permanent,
The main thing is to straighten your back and not slouch.

RE: This is Me...
Hi i stumbled across this page searching on the net and it seems to be the only place were real people claim results in growing taller... (but if there is a supplement that people can agree on works please do tell)
I am 6.3 in the mornings 6.2 and sometimes 6.1 and a half on other days.
BTW i am a basketball player so every inch counts.

RE: This is Me...
Yup, that IS what I meant!
And, in girl terms, looking like a pear means smaller on top than at the bottom... having wide-ish hips.
So yay for doing a 2-for-1 exercise!
