This is Me...
Hey Guys!
First of all I want to say that I cant even express how happy I am about finding this forum and reading through it.
After being a reader only for the last couple of weeks, I finally want to introduce myself to you and be a part of this great community...
So, about me. I'm a 20 year old, above average muscular and fit guy measuring about 1,75 m (a good 5.8 ft?). My mother is something close to 1,70 (5.65ft?), my father's height is about 5.11. My younger brother is somewhat just as tall as my father.
Now, 6 days ago, I started doing streching concentrating on height gain- and as of today, I've grown about a goood cm if not more.... Now i wanted to ask you: Guys(or Girls hehe), is this even possible? - I dont think so though i measured myself a 1000 times with the same result. Well never the less Im going to start off swimming soon twice a week. I have only 4 months left till I turn 21- I know that body doesnt stop growing because of a birthday- but still, its kind of a psychological thing too....
So here I am- A Very disciplined and overall very confident guy who aims to reach 5.11 within the next 8 months hehe
HI

RE: This is Me...
Listen, if all else fails, you can try improving your posture. That can add an inch or two to your height at anytime of life.
Welll... at the point I am at the moment, I dont even waste a single thought to failing.... like i said... i am actually 1 cm which is something like a third of an inch taller than i was 6 days ago... i think thats a great result so far...
well i guess when youre talking about improving my posture u mean walking with my head and my body more or less streched.... i always did this anyway.... but still im trying to go/sit more upright now.... and I also see that it gives me something like maybe an inch or sumthing- but i dont think there is a lot of room of improvement there in my specific case.... or did i get something completely wrong?
Thanks for ur post btw

HI
Next 8 months ? Low possibility, but it is definitely not impossible but not possible too. By the way 1.75 is 5'9, so you need 2 inches.
It is very possible that through a series of intense routine, you add a cm or two to your daily height so it is definitely possible, usually, straightening out posture nets you at least an inch or two (Although I have yet to get it up till today), swimming is a good sport, do more of it, and I gurantee you will grow.
Good Luck.
Age: 17
Current Height: 5'8
Goal Height: 5'10/5'11
Parents's Height : 5'8 Dad and 5'2 Mom.

So you think within the next 8 months a more realistic goal would be something like close to an inch? Well Id love to prove you wrong but I have the fear you know what youre writing about hehe...
Do u know a specific style of swimming that encourages growth the most? It would seem logical to me that doing the crawl is more effective than breaststroke.....

RE: This is Me...
yes I did! i measured myself several times with the same result- right after streching and getting out of bed and 2 hrs later (which was more or less the same) in the evening i am kinda as tall as i was in the morning before i started my routine.... I dont believe it myself haha...
I dont know, but since Ive done sports since I was like 4 or 5, I am very dedicated to my routine and I always, no matter how bad I feel (and Im kinda ill at the moment hehe), I always give the maximum.....
Well I hope its permanent already, and I hope theres a lot more to come hehe... But to be honest, I dont want to evaluate if its permanent through quitting my routine atm... hehe... tomorrow I start with stage 2, so I hope that this was just the beginning hehe....
What do u do to gain inches/cms?
