Summer Routine
Hey this summer, I plan on growing a lot so I need to make a revised routine.
I plan on swimming and playing basketball a bunch.
I was also gonna use the freewebs growtaller stretches along with the elevated biking.
Some weightlifting.
So i was thinking, how should I spread these exercises throughout the week?

I was thinking something like this:

Monday through Friday=Swimming 1hr
Tuesday+Thursday=Weightlifting 1hr
Saturday= Rest or light jogging etc
Sunday=Basketball 1hr or more
Biking everyday +1hours
Stretches everyday

What do you think?
And what times during each day would be ideal for these activities? What kind of swimming should I do? Breastroke?

Furthermore, a lot of people have been saying kicks or jumps are beneficial for lengthening your leg. I actually have been doing jumping and made sets and I think it has really strengthened my legs but not sure about height yet.
What I usually do is
One set:
Jump as high as you can (if there's something to touch like a ceiling, try to touch it) 10 times.
Jump a medium height 10 times.
Jump rapidly 10 times in place (try to go as high as you can with spending the least amount of time on the ground between jumps) .

I usually perform 3 sets of these after jogging or biking. Is this a good activity for growing taller or are there better methods? And should I do this every day or alternate?

Initial Height: 5'8 (April 2009 Joined)
Goal: 5'10 (REACHED!)
Next Goal: 6'0
Long-term Goal: 6'2

RE: Summer Routine
First of all how old are you??
That might help determine how IF you need to bother with kicks and jumps etc
I also recommend you do breast stroke mainly, weightlift at least 3 times a week instead of two and eat a high protein and high calcium diet!!!

Age 16 - ( 17 in november)
Starting height 5"7 (at night)(20th April 2009)

RE: Summer Routine
It doesn't fucking matter. As long as you actually exercise and weight lift and have enough protein and calories for recovery and growth, you're fine.

"it’s not unheard of for underweight high school kids to gain muscle very rapidly. But they are usually starting out very underweight and have the natural anabolic steroid cycle called puberty working for them."

RE: Summer Routine
Why is weightlifting so essential? I know many tall people who have never touched a dumbbell.

Yeah well they're naturally tall. You're not. Lift weights to build muscle to make up for your shorter stature. People may be able to look down on you, but you can still beat the shit out of them then.
