Shinbone routine - any success?
The shinbone routine seems believable enough. If the website isn't lying, then you could even become taller after your growth plates fused. Again, if the website isn't lying, at two inches every five months, you could permanently grow a whole foot (12 inches) in 2 1/2 years.
In other words, if you're 18 and 5'6" now, by the time you're 20 1/2, you could be 6'6". Sounds hokey. Perhaps I'll try it for 3 months and see if I'm taller. The only downside is, if this works, I'd end up with a shin that's about 4 feet tall. Not good for airplanes. |

RE: Shinbone routine - any success?
If your shins grew THAT much I'm pretty sure you'd have some problems with the bones eventually, that's one thing thats preventing me from doing this routine, the unknown effects. However it seems really possible.
Current Height: 5' 11 (at nighttime) Dad's Height: 5'7 Mom's Height: 5'7 Goal Height: 6' 1" Dream Height: 6' 3" Gender: Male (age: 22) |

RE: Shinbone routine - any success?
i dont really beleive in the micro fracture thing, but definatly stretching the knee joint and building more cartilage with big ankle weights is very possible thats why raised seat cycling has worked and there are absolulty no or very little micro fractures while doin that
2010Jan-starting height 5 11.75 in the morning 5 11 at night, 205lbs moms height 5-7 dads height 6-0 age 21 goal - 6.0 reach is 6-3 same as my dads Dream height- not really interested in dreamin! occupation- mma fighter Body fat 10%, Goal 7 % at 205lbs Current Height 5 11.5 at night 6 in morning |

I respect you because you probably have more knowledge than me about the scientific side of growing but what do you say to all those who succeeded at growing with shinbone routine? I believe in this because I've heard so many saying they gained height with this but you seem very pessimistic about it.Can you tell us why? |

RE: Shinbone routine - any success?
Shinbone works in theory.
Their are two ingredients to the theory: 1) Distraction forces(Are you stretching the bone?) 2) Microfractures(Are you causing microfractures in the cortical bone?) The problem with Sky's method is that sitting with ankle weights does not effectively stretch the bone. Lateral synovial joint loading is the optimal method to stretch the bone. http://thequestforheight.blogspot.com |
