Sugar isn't too good for height growth. It slows down the release of chemicals in your body.
Rice isn't all that bad as long as you don't eat loads of it. Now and then is fine, everyone likes a Chinese takeaway now and again

I think, a little rice is fine, but if you are gulping 3 or 4 bowls at a go, then what do you think ? Stunt ? Or not ?

Rice is mainly made up of carbohydrates so it won't stunt your growth if eaten in moderation, although if you look at people from countries such as China or Vietnam there diet contains a lot of rice, and not many of them are above 5'6.

For the sugar issue- our bodies get sugar naturally from fruits. So having fruit will substain you with the needed amount of sugar.
Of course, you can still pull a Audrey Hepburn- it is said that she only ate a small block of dark baking chocolate once a week as a "reward" to herself.
Age: 18, female, Caucasian
Starting height: 5'2" (November 2nd, 2008)
Current: 5'2"
Goal height: 5'4"
Dream height: 5'5"
mom's height- 5'3
dad's height- 6'
Fully aware this totally changed.
Why only 5'4? Because Idina is 5'4... =) Juuust kidding.
Kind of.
