Newcomer and Wanna Grow Before It's Too Late
Hi ! Im new here...just thought I'd introduce myself....best of luck to everyone in growing ^^
Age: 16 1/2 Current Height: 171cm/5'7.3''(morning) 170cm/5'6.9''(night) Height Goal: 180cm/5'11''(night) Dream Height: 183cm/6'0''(night) Father's Height: 173cm/5'8'' Mother's Height: 158/5'2'' From: Malaysia Hi guys, so I'm 16 and a half, still going through high school which makes height something of importance to me, hoping to grow ^^ My daily diet is a bowl of cereal for breakfast, normal meal + 3 eggs for lunch, and well, a normal family meal for dinner I try to eat alot of meat and eggs for protein and I take 2 calcium pills daily for calcium...I also do some stretching before I go to bed. Could you guys give me some tips on how to grow taller?

Welcome to the forum!
Dont take calcium supplements, get vitamin D instead. I heard calcium supplements increase the risk of heart attacks by 30% or something. You get enough calcium from your diet if you drink 2-3 glasses of milk, and if you eat yogurt, or eat cheese. You need to stimulate growth hormone in order to grow taller so try doing short and intense cardio like sprints, or resistance biking at high speeds. Age: 18 Current height:6'4.75'' (morning) wingspan: 6'9.5'' Goal-(March): 6'5'' (night) Final Goal height: 6'7'' Final goal wingspan: 7'1 { } Routine: 1500mg L-arginine+1000mg Ornithine+500mg Niacin |

Thanks for the reply ! ^^ The calcium supplement i take do contain Vitamin D2, or would it be better to ge a specialized supplement for Vitamin D or something? Unfortunately, cheese/yogurt isnt part of my diet...I only drink 1 glass of milk before bed...and the milk is the powdered type...does that effect anything? Oh and I heard that fasting for a day could jump start growth hormones? Is that BS or is it true? Sport-wise,would rope jumping help? how bout basketball? and how bout using a stationary bike instead? Thanks in Advance ^^ |

I dont really know about types of vitamin D but research it ad decide for yourself. powdered milk vs. real milk, powdered milk will have less fat but idk what else. look at the nutrition list. fasting does stimulate hGH production but i havent tried it but if your up for it go ahead.
Any exercise that involves resistance will be good for hGH production like intense cardio, mountain biking, stationary biking, jumping, and swimming.
