RE: It was upsetting ..
Thanks for replying everyone. so basically here's what I'm doing.

I wake up early ( since school is early ) like 6.30am.
I spend my time stretching, i would say 10-15 different kind of stretches.
Stretches that Involves my spine, arms, legs. I would all these stretching exercises morning and evening, EVEYRDAY. And recently i notice that i would stretch just cause i feel like stretching, through out the day. like just stretch upward, and twist sideways ( like making it pop, crack ) I also do kicking, morning and evening, i put ankle weights too, just simple kicking, prolly 200-300 kicks each leg, morning and evening. i do these for my knees and cartilage. I also do hanging, i would count 10-20 secs, doing it 3 times in the morning and 3 times at night .

Exercise, I do running, jogging, sprinting, i try to run 5 times a week, lasting 15mins. but sometimes i get lazy and i would do 2-3 times a week. reason why? sometimes its raining and so i have to postpone my running, i mean i hate to, but i dont wanna get sick either Sad i also do chin ups and pull ups whenever i get a chance all through out the week.

Diet, I drink 2-3 glasses of milk EVEYRDAY. I eat right. I balance all i eat, like meat, carbs, fats, vitamins, etc. like i know how my body works. so i know if im depriving myself with a certain food, or if im putting too much of it. so yea,
and like body wise, i have a really good body. i have a 6 pack, ( but the 4 pack is noticeable, but the lower abs, which is the 6th is kinda there, but still covered by natural fats. ) but yea, i have the body. but not the height. i'm not buff, im just toned and fit. thats another thing, like my muscles are semi-formed so i dont know if its gonna be easy for my muscles to stretch/grow out since its like already formed? i dont know.

vitamins wise, i drink calcium tablets + vitamin D, i drink fish oils, this multi-vitamins that i got from GNC for men, glucosamine. i drink them morning and evening. so far thats all im taking right now.

Sleep, i try to sleep atleast 7-8 hours a day. the least would be 6. but sometimes, like in 1 week, i would get like 9 hrs of sleep which is cool. i try to really get enough sleep. but sometimes, in the middle of my sleep, i would get interupted, but i can go back to my sleep easily.

So yea, i know its kinda long, im really determined to work hard to grow taller. i started my routine last year Nov 2009. and my goal is to reach atleast 5'5 height this aug of 2010. im currently 5'3 1/2 right now. so i dont know if thats really realistic goal to grow. I have 9 months to grow. I wanna prove everybody thats keeping me down that i can still grow. even if im only 18. my dads tall and his family, my moms side, they're average. so there's no way i can be like 5'3 for the rest of my life and not grow. i know there's way. and i need to know that , and apply that to my life Sad

and last, I pray to God. and if i do become succesful to this one, i would be a great inspiration to everyone who's pursuing to grow taller.

RE: It was upsetting ..
Maybe you need a change in your exercise, I noticed that you never put swimming into your regime?running is good but it has to be sprints flat or up hill no difference but the key is to get your legs being used to intensive exercise...which will push your limit to 110% of your capabilities.

even in days when you aren't running on the streets, try and incorporate some leg work at home, e.g. squats (weight or non weighted doesn't matter)
maybe you'll get a massive grow spurt once you start college, boys are hard to predict esp during puberty.
My highschool classmate was exactly your height when he was 18 too
He must now be around 5ft 10in, I nearly coudn;t recognized him cos he's so far up now and I am used to seeing him at my eye level.

RE: It was upsetting ..
I wanna do swiming. but i dont have a pool. unless i go to the gym. which i dont think i have time to go everyday. Sad
so you think that if i do squats it will help me alot? but then wont that help me to have those big caps.. and muscles instead of growing? im just wonderin.

really your friend 18 grew to 5'10? how did that happen ?!

RE: It was upsetting ..
7 inches growth spurt at collage seems to be pretty crazy and rare
altho there's some guys i heard this happend to them
my dream is to have a growth spurt like this
but there's a chance of not growing an inch at collage years so depends on your genetics
your routine is good i dont know what's wrong here maybe you werent consistent?
try doing 5 different stretches everyday not the same ones, alternete between stretches
and you can add swimming and intense cycling to your routine whenever you can
your parents height is good my prediction is you should be taller
maybe you will have a growth spurt soon
or maybe you have growth hormone deficiency
if so i dont think you can inject yourself with growth hormone legally with a doctor now

You know what you're right. I wasn't really consistent about my routine. like, the stretching, is yes. i am, but the running, is not. the vitamins is yes. and milk, but the sleep is not, most of the time, i only get 7 hrs of sleep ..

I remember back when i was 10-12 of age, my growth was really fast. like i enter my last year of elementary i was like 5'0. I was tall compare to my other classmate, but then when i reach my freshmen year, during those time, i got involve in drinking, smoking too. and not getting enough sleep. and then, thats how my growth seemed to be slow. till i reach my senior year, i was still smoking and drinking, and not getting enough sleep. the only reason i got taller a bit was coz i was in sports. but when i got here in the US. i kinda start growing again. so yea ..
