Swimming is a bad exercise because you have to have good technique and lots of intensity for it to be effective for ANY purpose other than caloric expenditure.

If you swam really fast you might be able to cause spiral microcracks in the spine.

What about hanging from a chin up bar and not doing reps?

I think so, swimmers in my school are like 2-3 inches taller than the average. I personally had a friend called Clyde who was the same height as me in 7th grade and now he is 6cm taller, in just two years. And to mention, he swims 3 times a week,2 hour sessions. The same applies for many others in my school swim team

Age: 14Y9M
Height: 5'8"
Start: 5'7"
Arm Span: 5'10.5"
Morning: 5'8.5"
Goal: 6'
Dream: 6'1"
Dad: 5'10"
Mom: 5'2"

I read someplace that you have to swim for 1-2 yrs before you will see growth.

i dont think it's the best way, as it's only the stretching force with no other factors, but it definitely makes u grow taller
