RE: I know it's ridiculous, but..
Its almost impossible to get a foot at your age. Considering your parents heights, its safe to say that you will not grow a foot. Even your 5'6'' "minimum" is a stretch. If I were you i would try to get an inch or two.

By the way, even taking low levels of testosterone or other hormones will hurt your chances of growing at all.

Starting height:5'7 (in August)
now:5'8 at night
Goal height:5'10
Dream Height:6'0
Gender:Male
age:17

I',m kinda confused at what gender you were born with. But even at age 17, girls should still be able to grow an inch or two at least, if you work hard enough over the next two yrs to achieve this goal.

I have known boys who were only 5ft 2in when they were 17 and then 4 yrs later, they shot up to 5ft 10in, I nearly missed him when I bumped into him accidentally as he was so tall I had to look up to see his face.

Just wanted to know if you're currently actively participating in sports already?

You need to do a lot of leg sports - rugby, sprinting, soccer, baseketball. Swimming is good because it helps your cardio strength and helps you train harder in other sports you play.

I used to think that rugby is not a height stimulating sport as most of the players looked hort and stocky but I was wrong. there are lot of tackling and scrummaging which requires your leg work.

Apart from that, sleep and rest is very important in recovery, especially as you reach the end of puberty, you need that extra rest to ensure that your body is getting the msot out of those tough training you did.

Not sure about foodwise though, but stay away from sugar.
