I GREW
Heey guys, remember my post from last year around this time?
(11-13-2008 01:17 AM)SmallcimGuy Wrote: Hi everyone, Well guess what. I'm 1 year older now and i grew. according to this post i was around 1.67/168 cm. Now i'm 172.5 cm in the morning and 171.5 cm in the evening. that means i grew 3.5 cm (more than one inch) in the worstcase scenario in one year and in the best case scenario 5.5 cm (2 inches!). It would be a lie if i stated that i didn't strech at all. i streched now and then (especially in the summer, i reguraly streched for at least a month when i was in Turkey and realised i gained 1 Cm in that month when i meusred myself back in the Netherlands). But it would be quite silly to state that i gained my growth purely through streching exercieses simply because of the fact that i didn't strech reguraly. i have been just to darn lazy . That brings me to my conclusion that mother nature was involved. it had to be. i guess my growth plates aren't closed yet. Now my goal is to be 1.75 (5.9) before summer 2009 (which means 3 Cm in about 7 months). Do you guys think it is achievable? Would i have to strech to gain this height? I also have another question. I would like to begin with fitniss. I want to train my breasts, biceps, triceps and back. Do you guys think i should wait with this? or do you guys think that a combination of streching and fitnissing will benifit my height growth as well as my muscle growth? Anyway, i hope you guys share my joy and i hope to inspire all of you. My self esteem has risen alot in this year. Become 5.9 will ultimately perfect my life. PS: sorry for my bad englis, im dutch.

RE: I GREW
very nice. If you have gained 2 inches of height naturally, during last year, you will likely gain 3cm-s this year. But stretching is damn bad(no permanent results are gained by stretching)

Dross wrote: No, I don't believe stretching will induce growth. However, I think stretching during during a growth spurt is a must. Stretching out your muscles in tendons can help alleviate growing pains.
So stretching stands for intentionally making your body to grow. Once you stop stretching you will shrink to your natural height. Stretching is good only for posture ans spinal pains. There are lots of other ways that may promote growth, especially if you are going under the growth spurt. RE: I GREW
yes working out your core like abs and bak and chest will help support your back so dont listen to people who say stretching is bad because they are just trying to share false info ...stretching helps no matter what people say and it could help gain an inch or so . just dont lift weights that are too heavy cause that may effect your growth negatively but everything else is positive.

RE: I GREW
LOL, more BS from JarrodThe(NotSo)GreatGreek.
Once again, all his information from height scams, scammers on Y/A! and just plain uncommon sense. Stretching does bullshit for growth. It doesnt cause tissue growth. All it does is, wait for it... STRETCHES YOU! Nothing more, nothing less. Gravity will take over once you've decided to stop stretching and your back where you started. Second, lifting weights is perfectly healthy and beneficial to growth. This topic has been discussed numerous times, each and every time ending with either Myself, Bruce90, ironcross7 or HeightFX totally pwning the idiot who said it doesnt. PLEASE NOTE: I am on an indefinate hiatus from GTForum. Nothing personal, just another project I've been working on since Summer '10. RE: I GREW
first of all stretching can extend the spine and muscle and produces hgh leading to permanent height why dont you post info on how it doesnt. i dont care what you say man your just trying to sound big.. stretching STRETCHES YOU OUT WHITCH CAN MAKE YOU TALLER. YOU CANNOT PROVE THAT IT DOESNT WORK SO WHY ARE YOU SUGGESTING to people to not stretch because there is evidence tthat it has helped ..it doesnt help you grow 4 inches but it could help posture and possibly stature.
and secondly i lift weights but its proven if you lift more than whats required it can damage the spine defently squating and halt growth your just turning everything i say around ..i didnt say lifting weights wasnt benificial i just said to be careful so shut the f up once again man ,, just bkuz u have 2000 post no ones gonna listen to you over me ..so once again ..chill out and stop bashing everything i say .. im here to help people stay possitive .. and your here to say shit you cant back up so get ur panties out a bunch and chill the hell out height scams? dude im not sellin anything your a dumbass im just trying to share information that could help growth ... my step brothers 13 and is more mature than you .. RE: I GREW
If squatting 'halted' growth, then all the worlds strongest man winners would not have an average height of 6'1". Lowest at 5'9" and tallest at 7'0".
Whats more, I said that's where you information is coming from, I never said that you were promoting them (so as usual, you take me out of context, and try to make it look like I've done that to you). Your 13 year old step brother is probably a mythological creature you made up to try and justify your arguments which hold no weight at all. The reason people belive and listen to me is because, I HAVE ESTABLISHED MY REPUTATION. People ask me for advice, because I'm a positive name on the board (to everyone, execpt you, because in your mind, whatever you read first must be the truth and words that sound alike must be linked. Which is why you've probably looked at my rep, and focused on the 5-6 bad ones, given to me by double accounts and just plain idiots - then immediatly accepted it as truth.
