Hi there

Hi there, my name is Hypnoman. I turned 19 this past June, and I'm about 5'8" at night (maybe a bit over), when measured against a wall. My dad is 6'0.5", and my mom is 5'1". Since the beginning of the school year I've been doing the geocities gottogrow stretches, albeit missing some days here and there, so last night I started week 8 of the stretches, and I think they may be starting to work. at the beginning of the year I was like 5'7.75", so I think I've gained like a 1/4 inch or 1/2 an inch since then. I'm currently in college, and my motivation isn't always up, so I haven't been putting in the best effort all the time. About a year ago, I went to the doctor and got my wrist X-rayed, and according to the doctor, I had an inch, a stretch for 2, left of my natural growth, and obviously that hasn't hit yet. Another major thing to note is that like 3 or 4 years ago my mom noticed my back looked funny, so we went to the doctor, they took some X-rays and diagnosed me with Kyphosis, which is curvature of the spine. They didn't specify a type of Kyphosis, but the treatment entailed stretching my hamstrings, and after some research online I think it was postural kyphosis. I try to sit up straight and stuff but I can't really seem to shake it. I went to a chiropractor last year, and asked him about my height, and he said by straightening my spine I could probably get about 2 inches. And right now what he has me doing is laying on a tennis ball each day on each side of my back (so it's not right on the spine) to try and straighten it out. If we do the math here, 68 inches + 2 from spine straightening + 1-2 from remaining growth = 71-72 inches in total height. To me, that just sounds amazing and I can't really imagine it. But if I look at some other things that tend to correlate height, it seems to make sense. My arm span is between 6' and 6'1", my inseam (crotch to floor) is about 34", and my shoe size is 12(US), which is about the same as my dad and my 6'2" cousin. I know that these don't necessarily correlate that strongly, but they do correlate. These to me indicate that I should be about 5'11" or 6' as well, and also indicate it's my torso that's screwy which makes sense.
lol, wall of text.
I've been about the same height for the past couple years and my perceived shortness has always really gotten on my nerves, especially when I had depression last year. I'd like to be at least 6', and 6'2" or 6'3" I think would be my dream height. Do you guys think my self calculations an assumptions are correct, and do you agree with the natural height I think I'll get with the spine correction and last bit of growth? Also, if I really am supposed to be like 5'11" or 6', do you think a goal of 6'2" or 6'3" is reasonable?
Thanks for all the time you took to read this, and any and all replies (supposing they're well thought out and not flames/spam) are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

RE: Hi there

Hello there! Quite a long post there lol. Looking at the heights you have mentioned including your dad and cousin i would have expected you to be a tad taller ( although thats just an assumption things differ from person to person) so i think you do have a good 2-3 inches left in you tbh. You may be 19 but remember its possible to grow up to 25 ( i think lol)

Basically eat well, exercise, get lots of sleep and you should reach a more desired height. If you are supposed to be 5ft11-6 ft i would think that 6ft2-3 is a perfectly good height to aim for; thats what im currently aiming for now!

Keep your spirits up and keep to a good system and you should grow in no time. Also a piece of advice from me, i would avoid any "Grow taller" pills and other crazy remedies that are on the internet. If your sretches heed no results dont turn to these as tbh they are a load of BS lol

Thats my view on things anyway Big Grin Remember staying positive is KEY to height success!

Yeah, I know there's a lot of crap out there, like max height and kimi/yoko. I'm not that naive. Thanks for the encouragement!
