The averageish height for a 10 year old is 4'7" ish.
My cousin is 10 and let me tell you, he is no where NEAR five feet.

15 Years Old.
Starting Height: 5'6" (07.03.08)
Current Height: 5'6"
Goal Height: 5'10
Mom: 4'11
Dad: 5'7
All other relatives on either side are <5'4"

Yo if ur 13 and still growing is it possible to grow 4 inches in a school year and 2 summers (now)? According to my diet? Thx for any replies I need to no!

I fully agree on this. I have been playing ever since I was 3 (My dad plays basketball he's 6'11) and I'm the the big man on the team(6'4) I think the reason for this is my rebounding abilities every time your going up for rebound you gotta stretch your whole body as best as you can. Frankly, I am one of the luckiest kids I know for my height and I'm very thankful for it.Never give up though, look at Mugsy Bouges he was only 5'3 and played in the NBA. He even won a slam dunk contest in '85 against Dominique Wilkins!

Oh woops! my bad I always mix those mugsy and spudd up lol. Yes I am indeed very lucky but life can get very tough being a 6'4 14 year old lol Do you watch alot of NBA?

haha yeah i'm a pretty big NBA fan, even tho i have a lot of suspicions that the outcome of the 2008 playoffs was rigged (to be a celtics lakers matchup)... lol. ur just a freshman in high school or what? well it's better to be a foot above average than a foot under lol

What's your favorite team? I'm a huge Dirk Nowitzki/Dallas Mavericks fan. and yea I'm gunna be a freshman this upcoming year and ditto on the foot over/under thing lol. you play basketball?

Doh, 6'4" and wants to be 6'11". it looks like you are only on this forum to impress people with your height. Whats the point in this when you are already 6'4" and only 14 years old. Geez.
