I am now 5' 3 1/2" tall so i gained a permanent half inch i believe, not sure. i'll keep measuring; tomorrow morning/night and on and on to keep a record.
how long ago were you 5'3 in the afternoon? btw it's bad to measure every day. as a rule of thumb, you should wait at least a month because you aren't going to grow a measurable amount in a single day. and there could be a tiny mismeasure that says you shrank and that would be very demoralizing.
=\ didnt see this post and i measured anyway this morning
guess what?
5'4 1/4"

by eating good, quitting smoking, doing normal stretches just for my muscles, then 2 "reaches" up a wall with each arm, a couple sprints, a 30 minute freerunning session, then stretching before i go to bed, putting 10 pound weights on each leg and letting them hang for an hour off my bed w/o touching anything, then sleeping with them on.

I actually felt taller this morning.

[EDIT]
Pretty sure it's basically me quitting smoking.

Shy RE: Best sleeping position?
About the best sleeping position/posture I found this:

" [...] One person on a different site claims that he had grown 2cm (age 26) by sleeping with both arms stretched over his head. He did not do it intentionally, he just felt more comfortable (excluding winters) to do so. He did not specify how long it took him to grow 2cm, or whether or not it was permanent.

However I think this is very interesting, sleeping on your back with arms outstretched and knees lifted above the pillow is probably what I see as the best height increasing sleeping posture."

So, what do you people think ?

It could be good.

But how do you need to stretch your hands - just keep them over your head?

Smile RE: Best sleeping position?
Well, I think for better results one would have to stretch the hands over the head as well. It's just like the picture attached to this post shows, with one exception: the knees are bent with the help of one or more pillows.

But since most people's beds aren't big enough to do this exercise, the other alternative would be keeping the hands over the head, without being stretched, just like you mentioned.

Yes, that's what I mean: hands stretched over the head and a pillow or more if necessary below the knees.

I will try to do this as well, hoping that with some practice I can get used to it.

Good luck. Smile
