RE: Best Exercises
Skipping is one of the best exercises that increases the level of growth hormone because it works your leg(calve) muscles.

The calves are among the weakest muscles in the body. If GH is produced by the major muscles such as the upper legs then it would be assumed that stronger muscle groups would create more GH during intense exercise.

Quite, your calves do not do a lot of work really. They're function is mostly aided with the use of the upper leg muscles. Most people can not stand on their toes for very long, but we can stand normally for quite a while. This is one way to show the strength and endurance of the upper leg muscles compared to the calves.

Sqauts, but don't overdo them. Too much downward preassure on the spine COULD stunt growth.

Wikipedia Wrote:The weighted squat is generally reputed as an effective excercise. Some benefits include:

1. Effective core exercise. No other exercise requires more core strength than the squat which utilizes muscles in the back, abdominals, quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes and calves.[citation needed]

2. Strong hormone releasing exercise. The squat releases more muscle-building/fat-burning hormone testosterone than most exercises excluding powerful olympic lifts such as the Snatch (weightlifting) and clean and jerk.[citation needed]

3. Bone density. The squat is the best exercise for promoting bone density useful as a preventative of osteoporosis.[citation needed]

4. Increased metabolism. The energy expenditure required to carry out a weighted squat is greater than any other weight training exercise which necessarily involves a lighter weight for lesser muscle groups.[citation needed]

5. Best after-burn. The squat is the best exercise for increased metabolism after exercise sometimes lasting several hours.[citation needed]

6. Improved quadriceps. The squat principally targets the quadriceps – the muscle used most in day-to-day movement such as walking as well as most other cardio exercises. Larger quadriceps leads to more energy expenditure (fat burning) on a day-to-day basis and during other cardio exercises.
