After all, what is the truth? don't understand.....
Someone explain to me, this is a grow taller forum , but, for what I've seen, most users here claim that stretching does zero's for hight increase.
Honestly I don't know if It's true or not, I´ve been stretching for growth purposes for 5 weeks now, and the hight gains are far from what web sites claim, however in this 5 weeks I gained about 1,5 cm , witch is around half an inch. althought, I Will give it a try for 3 more weeks , I'm 24 so my plates are pretty fused by now. I'm a bodybuilder so as you can imagine my diet is pretty well structured, my sleep time as well, that influences of course. Just one thing, our muscles grow(and cartilage too) as a consequence to external physical demands (exercice) , so the growth of cartilage of the spine as a consequence of stretching(exercicie) makes perfect sense, why do you claim it doesn't work? I honestly don't know if it does or not..my hight increase is minimum until know. What made me consider what is written in all those web sites is true is my knowledge as a bodybuilder. |

RE: After all, what is the truth? don't understand.....
Let me put it this way, as a bodybuilder, you know that if you stop eating and lifting - you will loose your muscle, right? Well if you stop stretching, goodbye height
PLEASE NOTE: I am on an indefinate hiatus from GTForum. Nothing personal, just another project I've been working on since Summer '10. My account WILL reamain open - but please don't send PMs for advice until (and if) I return. GOOD LUCK ALL HEIGHT SEEKERS! |

Well if you stop stretching, goodbye height ok , good way to put it. But if you continue a stretching routine to keep the results, as you could do in a bodybuilding routine, even with an inferior intensity, you can actually keep that hight, correct? The biological mechanisms are pretty much the same here.... the only difference is the type of exercices that target it. |

I think you can gain up to 10 cm with stretching if you are lucky, but it's temporary, unless you will reapeat it twice af week after you gained height and have af very strong core and back.

Ridiculous.. Starting Heigh [Morning - Evening]: 174Cm - 172Cm Current 16. November 2010 [Morning - Afternoon & Evening] 178 - 177 & 176Cm Time Goal Evening / Long Time Goal: 178Cm - 5feet 10inches / 183Cm - 6'0 |

Well Pacman, we have many people and many opinions. The only way to find out the truth here, as I see it, is to actually try the routines by yuorself. And 1.5 cms in 5 weeks are not bad at all! Have your spine actually grew longer?
Anyway, I think it is better for you to continue this routine at least 3 months in total, and than check out if the results are permanent or not. Good luck!!! |

Is not ridiculous. I'm sure if you continue stretching long enough and you have a bit of luck you can gain up to 10cm. Yes it is temporary and not good for your muscles, ligaments etc., but it is possible. Age: 16 Height: 5'11 Goal: 6'3' |

Anyway it is possible to gain temp. with stretching but never 10cm, max. 3 but not more. Believe me i have done this and yeah what should i say with ankles i have made a better choice cause i didn't think that stretching will be ever better than spine growing. But just give it a try and you will see, i mean no one in this world could achieve 10cm WITH stretching. Starting Heigh [Morning - Evening]: 174Cm - 172Cm Current 16. That you have gained nothing will not say it is not possible. There are lot of people that gained a temporary 5cm or more with stretching. First I stretched for a while and gained 4cm, now I have stopped that routine, because it's not effective, I want bone growth.
