Probably it doesn't matter anymore now,but I'm just intrested.(And maybe it could help other guys here)

when you stop growing when you're 17,you can assume you have an advanced bone age(by 1 year) ,right?

1)What actually causes this advanced bone maturation?I mean I know advanced bone age is when you have those 'sex' hormones earlier .
But what causes those hormones to be created earlier?

(I also remember taking a blood test,for some desease I had,not for growth and doctor told me everyting was fine.and if it has any importance I slept 8.5-9hours a day,sports at least 4-5 times a week and eat healthy)

2)And does it make you not get to your potential height?Sounds stupid but if you think about it there are a few possibilities:

A)you're a baby but at a certain moment you develop faster than baby's your age.The question is do you grow faster also?
B)you were really sick and it affected your bone maturation(maybe it doesn't make any sense I'm just saying something)
C)when you're born you are already 'more developed' and so bigger.Would make sense in my case because I was quite tall for a baby.

To clarify this one:
*I remember when I was 5/6 years I was already as tall as my cousin who is exactly 1 year older than me and way taller than my other cousin who is just a few months older.Sign of advanced bone age?

*Reaching puberty age(like 12-13) I was one of the tallest of my soccer team and people used to tell me my legs were freaking tall(and not in proportion with my body obviously).That's a sign of grow spurt.

*Age 14:Went to some doctor with school,to see how puberty is going and shit.Based on my height she took last time(when I was 12) doctor couldn't predict my height because it wasn't like in the growth charts she told me.

3)I know some people here know a lot about this I respect those and I'm asking them those questions.
Being here a few months I know there are people here who just tell things they actually want to here themselves and are just fooling others and themselves without knowing a shit about this.

4)One other thing I forgot to tell:

I'm from North-African origin,I looked it up and it's quite normal we start puberty earlier.I think compared to the white/caucasian race most races start puberty earlier.
Could be on of the reasons why for example some races are taller than others?

Also,if you think about it:people are starting puberty earlier than for example 50 years ago,I think it was 6-12 months for white people and 1 year earlier for black and chinese kids.(on average of course)
If we see this as less time to grow,this won't make any sense because we are taller than people then?

I'm just curious.

I'm doing research on this and I have a few questions about this:

-Is there medical proof(did doctor tell you) that it's your medication that caused this?Or maybe it's just coincidence?
-Your bone age matured with 1 year so your height prediction decreased with 2 inches,right?

fairly interesting theory here. so if your bone age is more advanced than yoru chronological age and if you've not done enough intense exercise to compensate for that unexpected bone maturity, you will have missed out a couple of inches
