8hrs of sleep is necessary?
I heard our growth hormones produce actively during 10pm-2am. Then isn't it sufficent to sleep 10pm-3am? (total 5hrs) I think my every hour is precious and I really don't want to waste it but i wonder if i sleep 5hrs, will i still get the same result?

Yea sleep is like your daily maintenance. Like a plane. You'll have to land properly whenever you take off. Cause if you don't you'll die.
Besides, dont you guys notice the more morning height you get the more your sleep was. It just tells you something. |

What are you talking about seriously? You obviously don't know.Morning height>height at night has nothing to do with growing taller man. What I know is that Growth Hormone is released during deep sleep and deep sleep normally only occurs during the first 5.5-6hours of your sleep. But you also need other hormones like insulin to grow and I don't really know when those are released, but my guess is also during deep sleep. BUT not sleeping at least 7-8hours has obviously a lot of disavantages and especially at your age. |

8 hours is the minimum. It has been shown that 6 hours of sleep or less displays about a 20% difference in testosterone and growth hormone. Learn to sleep earlier.

sleeping longer also decompresses your spine more and will make you taller during the morning

RE: 8hrs of sleep is necessary?
It is true the largest pulse of hgh occurs early on in your sleeping hours (ESP. For men). But still you need more sleep for other things your body needs to grow such as test, dhea, plus other hormones and growth factors. Get 8-10 hours of sleep. It's good for your health.
